CM chairs meeting to review urban development projects
AGARTALA: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha underscored the need for timely completion and quality maintenance of urban development projects during a review meeting here Saturday. He urged officials to expedite citizen services and focus on key projects including the TUDA initiatives and a city hospital to improve health services.
His additional directives included the installation of CCTV cameras for urban security, pedestrian safety measures and riverfront development for the Gomati River.
Chief Minister expressed satisfaction with the near completion of pink toilets across urban areas and stressed importance of proper waste management and environmental protection after celebrations. The meeting also addressed various ongoing projects such as the Mukhyamantri Urban Development Project, Satellite Township Project and Smart City Mission.
Senior officials of the line departments and agencies were present at the meeting.
