Census: Delegation from ORGI Delhi visited Chiephobozou Block
REGIONAL: A delegation from the Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner (ORGI) in India, led by Dr Manoj Jain, Joint Director, visited Chiephobozou rural and urban areas, including Nerhe Phezha, Botsa, Chiephobozou urban ward-5 and Touphema Village Thursday as part of the Census Operation 2027.
Accompanied by officials from the Census Directorate of Kohima, including Dr Kekrietshunuo Kire, Senior Executive, Chankit Kumar, Statistical Investigator and other field trainers and lecturers, the team inspected newly enumerated houses and interacted with household heads.
During their visit, the delegation provided instructions to Enumerators and Supervisors regarding the House Listing Operation. In a brief meeting at the ADC's Office Chamber, Dr Jain highlighted that the purpose of their visit was to observe and assess the ongoing first phase of Census-2027 underscoring the importance of accurate enumeration for the census process.
