
WORLD: Approximately two million people attended a free concert by Shakira at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro marking a historic event in her career. The concert opened with a drone display featuring a wolf, which is a symbol of Shakira as she expressed her love for Brazil and the collective spirit of the audience.
The pop star performed several of her hits, including "Hips Don't Lie," "Antologia" and "Waka Waka," and collaborated with notable Brazilian artists such as Anitta, Caetano Veloso, Maria Bethania and Ivete Sangalo.
The event is estimated to have generated around 800 million reais ($161.45 million) for Rio's economy, positively impacting the hotel, restaurant, transportation and retail sectors.
