
FOURTEEN-year-old Oindrila Chakraborty from Tripura, India, has recently published her third book titled "Ink & Infinity – An Anthology," through the global publisher Ukiyoto. This anthology features a diverse collection, including short stories, poetry, and literary essays, and is available in various formats such as hardcover, paperback and e-book on platforms like Ukiyoto and Amazon with plans for broader distribution in bookstores and e-commerce sites worldwide.
Oindrila's literary journey began early; she published her first novella, "The Adventures of the Legendary Queen," at age 11, followed by a second work, "Shadows of Rosalia," when she was 13. Her contributions span multiple anthologies like "The Great Indian Teen Fiction Collective," "Abhimanyu – Fight Till Your Last Breath," and "Dasavatara – 10 Avatars of Lord Vishnu." Notably, one of her short stories received a Memorable Mention from Oxford University Press and the Emirates Literature Foundation.
In addition to her writing, Oindrila has been recognised as a semifinalist in the Top Young Innovators of the UAE, where two of her innovative business ideas were shortlisted by a panel including experts from NASA and the US Air Force potentially leading to US patents. She notably served as the host for the Young Authors programme at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2026 in Dubai presenting her books and fulfilling the role of Master of Ceremonies.
Oindrila also engages in advocacy as a Sustainability and Well-being Ambassador for her school, representing it at various local and international venues. As a podcaster, book reviewer and speaker, she delivers book reviews and educational content through her podcast.
She has established book clubs in collaboration with national libraries and schools and is actively involved in literary discussions globally.
Academically, she is currently in Grade 10, following the British curriculum, and is the recipient of several scholarships, including the Creative and Performing Arts Scholarship and the Thrive Scholarship. Oindrila is now focused on writing her fourth book that will be a duology.
