PM violates model code of conduct, Tarun Gogoi

Guwahati, April11, 2019: Former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi alleged that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's election rallies in Assam on day of first phase of election violated model code of conduct.
Gogoi was speaking to newsmen at Jorhat to suggest that the Prime Minister was carrying out campaign in Assam when the polling process is on across five Lok Sabha constituencies in the state is a violation of the model code of conduct.
Gogoi viewed that Prime Minister could have opted another day for visit, but he (Modi) tried to influence voters of the first phase through his rhetoric.
