Rubber Board observes Vigilance Awareness Week

Kottayam, October 21 2019: The Rubber Board will observe Vigilance Awareness Week from 28 October to 02 November 2019. This year the theme of observing vigilance awareness week is ‘Integrity- A way of life’. The programme will start with a pledge by all officers and staff of the Rubber Board at 11 am on October 28 2019. The pledge will be administered at Head Office by Dr. K.N. Raghavan, Executive Director of the Rubber Board and by Heads of offices/officers- in- charge in all other offices. As a part of the vigilance awareness programme, elocution competition in English on ‘Integrity- a way of life’ will be conducted for students of higher secondary schools and colleges in and around Kottayam. A poster competition in the same topic will also be conducted for college students. Elocution completion for students of Higher Secondary Schools will be held at 2.00 pm on October 28 and for students of colleges will be held at 2.00 pm on October 29 respectively at Mount Carmel Higher Secondary School and Mount Carmel Training College, Kottayam. Poster competition for college students will be held at 11.00 am on October 29 at Mount Carmel Training College. Maximum two students from each institution can participate in one item of competition.
The heads of the institutions should forward the names and addresses of the students, who are willing to participate in the competition, so as to reach the Vigilance Officer, Rubber Board, Kottayam 686002 (email: [email protected]) on or before 10 am, October 26 2019. The students should bring their school/ college ID cards and authorization letter from their Head of Institution / Principal to participate in the competition. Elocution competition in Malayalam on the topic ‘Integrity- a way of life’ will also be arranged for the employees of the Rubber Board offices in and around Kottayam at 11.00 am on October 30 2019 at Rubber Board Head Office, Kottayam.
The winners of the competition will be awarded with prizes in a function to be held on November 1 2019 at Rubber Research Institute of India, Puthuppally.
