CM requests counterparts on stranded people

AGARTALA, March 29, 2020: Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb sent letter to his counterparts in Delhi, West Bengal, Assam, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana and Tamil Nadu to request them to take care of people who are currently stranded in their respective states due to Covid-19 triggered lockdown.
He appealed the Chief Ministers to provide food, shelter, security and healthcare to the people of this state who got stuck after enforcement of the lockdown.
Deb also informed his counterparts the measures taken by his government to support people from other states in this critical time. He informed formation of a high level team to monitor plight of people from others state.
